In October, Le Vivier, in collaboration with Québec Musiques parallèles, presents a series of concerts that intertwine political engagement, cultural heritage, and sonic exploration: the evocative power of Raven Chacon, the free gestures of Andrew Cyrille, and the transatlantic encounter between Tour de Bras, SuperMusique, and the Belgian collective C-ÎME.
October 2: Gabo Champagne — Yvern
Blending music, experimental theater, and movement, this poetic show imagines a future in a world in decline. Yvern is a requiem for a climate we once knew, and a call to face what is coming.
Presented by Innovations en concert and Le Vivier in collaboration with Arts in the Margins, as part of the Festival Flux and Québec Musiques parallèles.
October 3: Raven Chacon • Quatuor Bozzini • E27 • Oktoecho
Québec Musiques parallèles, the traveling event for exploratory music and sound art, brings together four exceptional musical worlds on stage: Raven Chacon, Quatuor Bozzini, E27 Musiques nouvelles, and Oktoécho.
Presented by le Quatuor Bozzini and Le Vivier in co-production with MOMENTA Biennale d'art contemporain and la Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen. In collaboration with Québec Musiques Parallèles and le Festival Flux.
October 4: Andrew Cyrille • 5ilience
Presented by Quatuor Bozzini, Arts in the Margins and Le Vivier, in collaboration with Québec Musiques Parallèles and le Festival Flux.
October 5: Tour de Bras • SuperMusique • Audrey Lauro
A meeting between the improvisers of the Rimouski-based ensemble GGRIL and the musicians and sound artists of the Belgian collective C-IME, brought together around saxophonist Audrey Lauro.
Presented by Tour de Bras, Ensemble SuperMusique and Le Vivier in collaboration with Québec Musiques Parallèles.
With the support of Wallonie-Bruxelles International.
