For its 10th anniversary, La Fratrie presents its new creation: Nos espoirs furieux. This multidisciplinary performance, combining theatre, dance, and circus arts, explores a central question: How can we cultivate hope in a collapsing world? Six performers on stage strive to find an answer, weaving together a sensitive collage that reflects our own sense of disorientation in the face of our times. Through a rich sensory experience, the work transforms collective paralysis into creative energy. Confronting a world in which lucidity can easily become fatigue and compassion can turn into a feeling of powerlessness, creator Alex Trahan invites audiences into his reflection: How can we create works that do not flee reality, but inspire us to take part in it? To move beyond this state of stagnation is to rekindle the fire, transforming despair into momentum and anger into action. Art therefore becomes an act of radical and lucid hope, a gesture that reminds us that beauty, solidarity, and imagination remain forms of resistance. These are our furious hopes.
