The Ouellet-Sinou family has scattered their instruments and odds and ends throughout the space to cobble together a strange ceremony to which we are invited. In whose honor? To celebrate what? All we know is that we will have to improvise a lot, deal with chaos and bad weather, and that in the end, NOTHING will go as planned! (And we love it.) So welcome to this poetic performance that thrills the senses and revives the pure joy of being together.
In the wake of its latest show, Créatures, the gifted company L'eau du bain fervently continues its research into water as a sensory and theatrical medium. Here, this authentic family and artistic clan invites us to SLOW DOWN for a moment to serenely welcome the unexpected: great training to learn to listen more closely to the intimate melody of the smallest things!

Anne-Marie Ouellet
Theatre professor at the University of Ottawa and playwright, Anne-Marie Ouellet seeks new modes of relationships between text, sound, and bodies on stage. With Thomas Sinou, she co-directs L’eau du bain. Through its performances, as well as its installations and shows, L’eau du bain aims to open up unprecedented and welcoming landscapes, in which play is renewed in unexpected ways. In recent years, they have presented several creations for all audiences (Créatures, De glace, White out, La chambre des enfants, Solarium, and Le Musée de la famille). In 2023, Anne-Marie received the CALQ Award for Outaouais Artist of the Year.
