Cabaret of possibilities: first names!
March 16, 2026
We are delighted to announce the first guests of the Cabaret of possibilities presented by Debbie Lynch-White, which will take place on April 1.
The highlight of our annual fundraising campaign, this event directly supports an artistic program dedicated to fostering the emergence of bold, unpredictable, and uncompromising new works.
The evening will feature Rita Baga, a leading figure of Montreal’s drag scene and finalist of the first season of Canada’s Drag Race in 2020. She will share the stage with Stephie Geraldine Mazunya, author of the play S’enjailler, published in 2024. Actress and playwright Isabelle Vincent, a major figure in Quebec theatre, will also join the lineup, along with Vlad Alexis, a Montreal-based artist working across film, television, and live performance.
The program will also include Frédérique Cournoyer Lessard, an artist trained at the National Circus School, who will present her work Scuse at La Chapelle from May 13 to 17, as well as Audrey Perreault, an actress and graduate of the National Theatre School whose practice is shaped by exploration and improvisation. We will also have the pleasure of welcoming Roger La Rue, an actor recognized for his many theatre roles—particularly in works by Michel Tremblay—as well as for his work in film and television. Finally, Nicolas Gendron, actor and director and founder of the company ExLibris, completes this first wave of guests.
More artists will be announced soon!
