Wolf Songs for Lambs is a work inspired by the child’s imaginary world, defined in psychology as a paracosm: a world governed by its own rules, with its own living beings, language, and history. Wolf Songs for Lambs aims to create a powerful enough experience to transport the spectator beyond habitual fields of perception and turn this paracosm into a journey through a dream. What makes a child, when reproducing a situation observed among adults, slip into a world of multiple layers? How does this imagined universe function? Wolf Songs for Lambs is an invitation to let imagination run free and to return to the carefreeness and unawareness that seem to accompany us throughout childhood and that, at times, are lost in adulthood.
