Radix – Assembly: Based in Vancouver, Canada, Radix presents work across a variety of media, creating performances that incorporate dynamic physicality, seductive visual imagery, and provocative content, often experimenting with the audience’s role within the performance. Set in a theatre transformed into a hotel conference room, complete with a dividing wall, Assembly is an artistic exploration of wholeness and fragmentation, bringing together contemporary notions of the body, mind, and soul.
February 14–16: Thursday to Saturday – 8 p.m.
Julie Andrée T. – Not Waterproof: With the body and space at the heart of her artistic research, Julie Andrée T. works in installation and performance. Bridging the poetic and the everyday, her work creates abstract yet recognizable common spaces through which she explores a range of cultural and existential questions. Not Waterproof, a solo performance created in collaboration with lighting designer Jean Jauvin and composer Laurent Maslé, transforms space, objects, and the body to create a metaphorical landscape.
