This is a dance piece that explores the struggles of Indigenous women. This dark work highlights the cruelty and vulnerability these women face in Canada, while exploring the self, cultural destruction , violence , and self-destruction. With disconcerting lucidity, Unrelated is a work imbued with a strong sense of emptiness that erupts violently, suggesting the loss of culture, identity, and community.
