Following Still Difficult Duet (2007), in which Belgian Pieter Ampc and Portuguese Guilherme Garrido first met, the two dancers bring all their dance treasures to the stage and, from one childish game to the next, let us glimpse their kaleidoscope of friendship. Drawing on their own dance language — far removed from everything experienced in contemporary dance — they unabashedly set out to explore what they mean to one another. What is their relationship? Are they friends, partners, lovers, rivals, or even enemies? The only instrument they employ is their own bodies: the irony of displayed physical strength, the intensity of their boyish friendship, their ability to transform their own limitations into virtuosity and combine it all in a dynamic performance where roughness, anger, and love intertwine in one vast, all-encompassing embrace, entirely physical in nature.
