Sepsis is a multidisciplinary installation, halfway between a living tableau, a video installation, and an oratorio, whose form contains the monologues of six deceased individuals (perhaps forming only one) with troubled destinies. The work is built from a poetic approach rooted in the dispossession of everyday life, but whose complexity lies in the juxtaposition of the different “stories” that compose it.
Under the influence: of light, with hands full of blood. Searching for meaning and finding only the remains of a putrefied form. Between the desire to die and the desire to live, confusion leads to a quest in which only the singular and profound need to become the opposite of what one believes oneself to be remains. Then comes a phantasmagorical encounter followed by the alter ego of one’s own pet. Bodies and voices bear witness and gradually reveal a theatrical score where symbolism and installation practice coexist and derail the linearity of the narrative.
