Sandy and Noah

Set in a post-wilderness outpost, this surreal performance draws on motifs of “the traditional western story” to illustrate a relationship in the absence of a functional society. A cowboy on the way back from the grocery store and a back-bent wine guzzler find themselves trapped and enmeshed in a domesticated relationship. Forced to live within their own self delusions, they have lost sight of one another.  Moving through a series of ritual-like chores the characters attempt to navigate a way out of the dissonance of their entanglement.  Sandy and Noah use their background in circus to create a texture both humorous and uncanny
