Solange and Claire work for a wealthy Westmount woman known as Madame. During her absence, they have fun imagining her murder. Unfortunately, their little ritual leaves its mark and then backfires. Knowing that they will soon be revealed to the world, between delirium and paranoia, fuzzy relationships and role-playing, the two sisters perform this ceremony for the last time. A game that will be fatal to them. Proje(c)t; les bonnes, comes from the desire to create a trilingual adaptation (French, English and Spanish) of the play Les bonnes by Jean Genet. The main idea is to transfer the story of Solange and her sister Claire, two maids, into the rich mansion of Madame, an English Canadian from Westmount. In this loose adaptation, Claire and Solange will go through different eras: we will start in the Great Depression and end up in postmodern Montreal.
