M. Gros

This new piece is inspired by the Canadian investigative technique known as Mr. Big whereby an undercover police officer obtains the confession of a suspect in an unsolved serious crime.  M. Gros is an attempt to stage a contemporary artistic flora, using spy scripts executed by shape-shifting characters, living sculptures, dual weapons and an eclectic sound environment.  A performance that addresses identity issues related to surveillance, infiltration, wiretapping, theft of ideas and copying while recalling the classics of investigative games.
