Moi et une Love Letter

A post-romantic exercise for which five women serve as prototypes. All of them experience solitude versus life as a couple; they find themselves in what could be called an examination. Caught in this experience, they must reproduce the other, the words they wish they could hear set against those they wish they could say. The five prototypes are confronted with their own identity and that of the other. Me and a Love Letter seeks to express the inability to truly meet one another, revolving around two opposing impulses generated by the experience of love, momentum and restraint. We speak about others and about ourselves through the most intimate and meaningful relationship, the love story. These women, bound by a shared desire to be what they are not, investigate solitude.
