Measuring Distance

*CANCELLED*  Nevertheless, the artist and her team are in the midst of a creative process within the walls of La Chapelle Scènes Contemporaines. These shows have been transformed into a creative residency. Measuring distance is a dance performance about shifting viewpoints, changing points of contact, and moving points of reference; it is about allocentric and egocentric forces. It is also a tool to locate myself. And then, a way to lose myself again. I measure space so I can enhance its presence, its materiality, its multidimensionality. The work superposes various methods of measuring to make appear sensible geography of relations, to unfold a ‘living’ space that composes with the asymmetries of presence and attention and opens depth in experience of reality.
