It is a contortionist’s reflection on a practice that has slowly consumed her from within. Based on her own experience, this tradition has been synonymous with a certain childlike naivety, unbridled feats of strength, and suggestive imagery. Mange-moi lays bare this contortionist’s body, making both the performer and the audience watching her fully aware of her fragility, her sexuality, and her femininity.
