Philipe Darling, the journalist with the glass eye, arrives at 5 a.m., dirty and distressed, at a police station not far from the town of Épiphanie. The police discover that she was filming a documentary about the emergence from the shadows of “The Association,” a group of mysterious beings living on the margins of the town, as part of the GREENFANG project. From the unifying remarks of old Adrien and the recently transformed mayor to the hateful statements of Damien and his gang, everything seems to indicate that the public emergence of “The Association” went very badly. By completely deconstructing the narrative, Emmanuel Schwartz, the author, and Alice Ronfard, the director, lead the spectator into a quest for truth within this performance about difference, where the stage space is overtaken by video.
