Le vent se lève

The primary intention of «the wind rises» is to observe the passage from inertia to Momentum through a luminous, joyful lens. Repetitive patterns are employed with an eye to liberation. The piece unfurls in the wind, the body wandering, whirling and trying to anchor itself in an empty space. The loss of bearings, the construction of new adaptive anchors, the perpetual geometry of the circuit, so many images that filter, with the aim of adding nuance to a black and white universe. The work echoes the collective inertia from which we emerge, the current squalls that shake our certainties. This project asks, how does one regain a sense of orientation in a relatively chaotic context?
