la complainte du givre is a creation that stands on the thin line between fiction, abstraction, dream and reality. The performance is highlighted by audio clips from a residency in Denmark in 2020 when one was learning to dance and the other to sing. We can hear the tensions of the past, the insecurities of both women about their abilities, but also their innocence and the laughter that can come at any time. While the past is present in our ears, we witness an intimacy, a tenderness and a confidence well rooted in the present, product of this past that we choose to share. Without being in a voyeur's position, this experience is a gift offered with its preciousness and the uniqueness of being able to witness the beginning of an adventure that unfolds and continues to grow right before our eyes.
