La Collab

La Collab is an event that brings together street dance artists and musicians from the jazz, soul and hip- hop music scenes. Eight randomly paired dance-music duos meet in a battle format. In each confrontation, the winners claim their opponents; musicians. The finale pits two dance artists against each other, each accompanied by a musical quartet. Among the eight participants of La Collab, six were selected in advance and two others will be added to the list during a qualification evening, which will take place on February 23 at Espace Sans Luxe. Details to come. Initiated by Sovann Rochon-Prom Tep (Lorganisme), this battle is the Montreal adaptation of The Collab event organized every year in France since 2016 as part of the hip-hop dance festival, Who got the flower?! The winner of La Collab will be sent to France to participate in the original event.
