Je suis un autre

Our bodies speak without our awareness. They bear witness to our unconscious world. The sudden turning away of a gaze, a faint blush on the skin, dampness or the trembling of a hand… These physical distortions reveal inner distortions and show traces of the gap between the self-image, conditioned and domesticated, and the deepest impulses. Morality and good manners, conditioning, the obligation to be happy, to get along and stay in good spirits… all these imperatives produce a more or less dirty kind of falsehood. Je suis un autre is born from the feeling of confinement generated by conventions and seeks to bring to light the multiplicity and ambiguity of the being that hide beneath their veneer.
