In a living room, as Jean-Pierre Ronfard and Robert Gravel once did with such freedom in a bygone era, Jérémie Niel invites Catherine Gaudet. And they look each other straight in the eye, face to face. Marked by a life in the arts stamped with the seal of the unattainable, the choreographer and the director size each other up like wary adversaries, searching in the other’s gaze for a way to name beauty, fractures, love, chaos… and ultimately everything they spend their lives pursuing, from studio to studio, from alleyway to alleyway, from piece to piece.
