Whether analog or digital, any device can, through its influence, unleash expressive potential thanks to the specific configuration of its constraints. In the performance Enjeux, boxes act as extensions and outgrowths of the three dancers’ bodies. Manipulated like pieces of a puzzle, these boxes serve in turn as soundboxes and sound receivers, light sources, and mobile projection surfaces. Between soft and hard bodies, shell and flesh, a series of osmoses, contaminations, and generative processes take place. The stage space is transformed into organic and sculptural compositions, extended and interpreted by augmented realities. The performance Enjeux unfolds as a series of role-playing games and free, imaginative associations. It recreates a childhood dynamic where an understanding of the world is forged using figurines, blocks, and cardboard boxes.
