Around her, or perhaps within her a succession of personified, fantasized, or horrifying images: a sexy septic worker, an admirably leftist dentist, a small bourgeois couple of nuisances, a pimp, a prostitute, a virulent punk. Solange’s inner world appears to us like a film shown in slow motion, with fragments deliberately cut out.
