De Rage is a creation that intertwines theatre and movement, in order to bear witness to the difficulty of combining our pursuit of happiness with our lucidity. It is the first impulse, the first effort in a cycle called “CE QUI NOUS BROIE”. It is an object that does not care about its own definition, where language becomes wild and fragmented, where bodies, at the end of their endurance, desperately try to find meaning, a path, an exit. It is a moment of fury in the hope of beauty. To fight for it. Out of necessity.
Exploring here the search for meaning and the desire for re-enchantment in a world addicted to innocence, to intense sensations, and to lies, De Rage digs into the indignation of six performers, from their disillusionment to explosion. Stripped of their armour, stripped of their innocence, they may perhaps hope to taste this desire for humanity and this longing for things to have meaning.
