Bob's Salon

Bob’s Salon is an evolution of Bob’s Lounge, BOP’s mobile long-form improvisation performance vehicle. Bob’s Salon invites musicians, dancers, actors, and the audience into a rigorously inebriated improvisational structure. Drawing on McIntosh’s sommelier training to pair an alcohol with a story—and providing samples of said alcohol—the Salon offers a unique format for exploring improvisation, collective performance, and drinking. By drawing attention to the sensations in our own bodies while tasting alcohol and attending a performance, Bob’s Salon creates a shared conversation that deepens engagement, bringing artists and audience together in a live, felt experience.
