Ainsi parlait

First of all, a trained tongue. A tongue that spits, that enchants, that says too much—or not enough. Then, a few gestures, loose approximations that call for “sprawling” or “letting go.” Ainsi parlait is the result of a research project exploring the possible unions between speech and movement. Led by the writer Étienne Lepage and the choreographer Frédérick Gravel, the research draws on the clash of their respective approaches.
